you: 358/365

I want to thank all of you who’ve been reading my words during this 365-day journey, and especially those of you who took the time to comment. It seems as if one of you was there whenever I needed a little boost or push. And there’s a small group of you who always seemed to be there in some way–thanks to you for your support and friendship. Each of you below has left at least one comment during this project, thereby adding to the conversation and the overall experience. I hope I haven’t missed anyone but please let me know if I have.
I’m a writer who wants to be read so thank you, thank you, thank you.

 365 true things about me
why this daily practice

  1. This series has been great! I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It makes me think whether I could do something like this. It’s not that easy to think of something true about yourself every day for a gray! Quite an achievement. Wow! I’m very impressed. Hope it’s been worth it for you too. Thanks for the mention at #39.

    • I know, Tricia : ) And thanks again for your support. I didn’t want to run out of steam and not thank everyone. This post is part of my ten final posts looking back at the year…

  2. Ha ha, my list will be about seven people long 😉 And yes, I agree: it’s been a thorough treat! But… you’ll still be blogging, I trust! Like: I want to hear about day 366! Ha ha.

    • Anne! Thank you, thank you, for all your support. Yes, I will still be blogging–but I’m ready to put the focus back on books and writing. Doubtful than anyone will hear about day 366 : )

    • Thanks, Dana. And you’re right–I am ready for the end, although today I did have my first twinge of fear at the thought of the anchor rising from the blog… Great to hear from you. Hope your writing is going well.

  3. Aren’t you sweet for such a lovely thank you! I must say I eagerly looked forward to each day’s remark, even where I didn’t comment, and perhaps learned more about you than you thought you were revealing! (Think about that one for a while. 🙂 It’s also tempting to do a monkey-see, monkey-do. You may have inspired quite a few of us to follow in your footsteps with a brief daily practice in 2016. We’ll see!

    Soo….What next, Cynthia?

    • Nina–so nice to hear from you. Being a fiction writer, I’m well aware of how much can be revealed along the margins and underneath the words : ) Thank you tons for all your support this year. I would love to return the favor and accompany you on a journey. As for what’s next, I’m going to put my novel first for awhile. Happy 2016!

  4. For the times I’ve been able to read, it’s been a pleasure, Cynthia 🙂 And I have to say, you should feel proud for such an accomplishment. To me, it’s a pretty impressive one! I’m sure there’s a part of you that will feel lost once it’s over ’cause a 365-day habit is a long one, but I’m sure you’re also happy it’s over. The pressure is off! lol

  5. It has taken me a while to thank you, Cynthia, but truly, thank YOU for this year of discovery. I’m mustering my courage to launch an annual project by the end of January. It is less important that I launch it by the end of January than that I launch it. I suspect you know how “true” that is.

I really enjoyed going through the Whole 30 with you. It was that exercise that proved to me a short, daily blog was possible. I will continue to post regularly on my other blog but Aim for Even will explore meeting the moment on a daily basis. We will see.

This has been such a wonderful year, Cynthia. Thank you.
    Karen
