christmas 1962: 346/365

This is the dining room in the house where I grew up in Atlanta. You can see the breakfast room where we usually ate through the door there.

Left to right: Pop (my father’s father), my sister Suzanne, my sister Jenny, mom, dad, my grandmother Lilli, me, my grandmother Buddy. I assume my other grandfather Paw Paw is taking the photo.

On Christmas Eve we would eat in here too. At the end of the meal, my father would say, “What’s that I hear? Could it be reindeer on the roof?” And we would scurry off to bed.

    • I wish, Ben, but I didn’t start until January 13th so I still have 16 days to go… Belated birthday wishes. How was it? I was hoping for a post. And Merry Christmas to you too!
