The days just won’t stop coming and here it is eleven o’clock again–one short hour left in this day in which I have not given one second’s thought to myself.

Yet this practice means I’m supposed to carve out a little time for me each day, and now that’s what I’m doing. Which makes me take a long, deep breath in and let it out slowly.

Four days–four different cities. On Tuesday, I was in Atlanta; on Wednesday, Columbus; on Thursday, Fort Worth, and now, Friday, Sarasota. Where I will be for a week–family vacation, with the rest of the gang arriving in the morning.

Last year I tried, but failed, to take a little time for myself each day. This year, I’m going to do it.
